/the practicality of imagination

I really liked where we were going when we discussed the "practicality of imagination". I suppose I've pondered such a thought, but thinking about thinking is pretty fucking intense. Anyway, I thought it was interesting to consider how/where the line is drawn between imaginitive thought and practical thought. Does it come down to perception only? It seems as if reliance on that alone has no strong evidence of being determinable. Who's to say then what perception is? Where is the line drawn between perception and actuality? So many questions, so little time.
To comment on gender issues and new media...I find it really interesting to be a girl who games...and has game...With XBOX LIVE, there is a headset you can wear that actually allows for you to speak to those you are playing with. The second I talk I usually get a super-surprised "OH MY GOD ARE YOU A GIRL? LYKE OMGZWTFIS YER MYSPACE QT..."you get the idea. As much as this is kinda ridiculous every time I want to play a round, I also know the "territory" I am stepping into when I engage in games.
I will save the rest of this post until after we discuss Morse a little bit more in-depth.
