Exam Recap - Jumble of Thoughts

I'm not sure if I have the right idea about what we are supposed to write about for this blog, but this is "what came to mind first".

In the process of working on the exam I found myself very perplexed. After the hours I had spent the night before studying, I thought I had a grasp on the terms we were supposed to learn, but in fact I found that all too many of the terms overlapped – ran together. I found picking the five main terms especially difficult because they too overlapped. I kept finding myself wanting to define one term with one that I had already used or one that was in the same group – let’s say use time to define history. In addition, it seemed that all I wanted was for Jean Baudrillard’s name to be on the list because I felt so many of the terms corresponded with his ideas.

Over all, however, I feel the one thing I enjoyed about the exam was that it made me put everything together and actually think about it. That doesn’t mean I necessarily understood it all, but it was interesting to see how all the terms jumbled together in my thoughts and came out the way they did. I’m curious to see how others did in the fact I believe so many different directions could have been taken. It seems very subjective to me which I struggled with because all I can do is cross my fingers and hope I came up with the answers Daemian was looking for.
